Compact Waveguide TE01 Circular Mode Generator
A compact circular TE01 mode generator design(Figure 1) is described here. The input is a rectangular waveguide and the output is a circular waveguide. The input is split into two symmetrical branch lines with the use of a tee. The outputs are further divided into four waveguides which are then fed into the common cicular waveguide. The return loss response plus unwanted mode levels are shown in Figure2.
